    কখন graphene VRLA নেবেন

    কম initial cost, কম daily mileage, সহজ local replacement এবং শক্ত warranty চাইলে graphene VRLA যুক্তিযুক্ত হতে পারে। তবে scooter-এর charger ও controller যেন এই pack-এর জন্য নির্দিষ্ট হয়। একই সময়ে তৈরি matched set নিন, manufacture date লিখে রাখুন এবং capacity/load test ছাড়া শুধু voltage দেখে কিনবেন না।

    কখন LFP নেবেন

    প্রতিদিন বেশি distance, delivery work, pillion, battery বহন বা দীর্ঘ cycling থাকলে LFP আকর্ষণীয়। কিন্তু “lithium” লেখা unknown pack নেবেন না। BMS-এর continuous/peak current, cell identity, fuse, temperature protection, charger, warranty ও repair route চাইুন।

    2. Voltage, Ah test condition, continuous current ও usable Wh জিজ্ঞেস করুন।
    3. LFP হলে cell format, BMS protection, current rating ও balance behaviour নিন।
    4. VRLA হলে প্রতিটি battery-এর date, rested voltage ও controlled load result নিন।
    5. Warranty-তে battery, BMS, charger, labour ও claim time লিখিত আছে কি না দেখুন।
    6. Replacement price ও lead time আগেই জেনে নিন।

    Technical deep dive

    রসায়নের পার্থক্য

    VRLA lead-dioxide, sponge-lead ও sulfuric-acid reaction ব্যবহার করে। Graphene additive থাকলেও এটি lead-acid-ই থাকে। LFP হলো lithium-ion chemistry, যার cathode LiFePO4। তাই nominal cell voltage, charge limit, BMS ও safety procedure ভিন্ন। Connector একই হলেই battery interchangeable নয়।

    Energy density ও weight

    Lead-acid pack-এ current দেওয়ার জন্য বেশি plate ও mass লাগে। LFP সাধারণত একই energy-তে কম weight দেয়। এতে acceleration, suspension ও carrying সুবিধা পায়। তবে enclosure, BMS, fuse, wiring ও mounting-সহ complete pack-এর weight তুলনা করুন।

    Safety system-এর বিষয়

    LFP অনেক lithium chemistry-র চেয়ে thermally stable হলেও risk-free নয়। ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত cell, overcharge, short circuit, water ingress, crushed enclosure বা bypassed BMS বিপজ্জনক হতে পারে। VRLA-তেও short-circuit current, acid, heavy lifting, venting এবং ভুল charging-এর ঝুঁকি আছে। Chemistry নয়, complete system ও installation safety নির্ধারণ করে।

    Life ও total cost

    Cycle-life সংখ্যার সঙ্গে DoD, current, temperature ও end-of-life capacity না থাকলে তা অসম্পূর্ণ। VRLA শুরুতে সস্তা হলেও deep daily cycling-এ দ্রুত বদলাতে হতে পারে। LFP বেশি দামী হলেও বেশি delivered kWh দিতে পারে। হিসাব করুন: purchase + charger + service + replacement + downtime − resale।

    কম initial cost, local familiarity ও verified warranty চাইলে graphene VRLA নিন। Daily distance, কম weight ও বেশি cycling চাইলে ভালোভাবে তৈরি LFP নিন। দুই ক্ষেত্রেই traceable model, সঠিক charger, protection, honest test এবং replacement plan marketing label-এর চেয়ে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

    Chilwee/Chaowei BG/Black Gold graphene-labelled VRLA gel এবং EVF/premium EV range আছে। Exact model, gel না AGM, Ah test rate, dimension, importer ও replacement support।
    Leoch VRLA-AGM construction, grid, separator ও parameter-এর ভালো technical documentation আছে। Exact model cyclic EV-এর জন্য কি না; generic UPS battery-কে graphene traction battery ধরে নেবেন না।

    বাংলাদেশে কেনার checklist

    1. পুরো pack-এর voltage মিলিয়ে নিন। যেমন চারটি 12 V battery series-এ nominal 48 V হয়।
    2. Ah কোন test rate-এ দেওয়া হয়েছে জিজ্ঞেস করুন। 20-hour rating এবং 3-hour rating সরাসরি তুলনীয় নয়।
    3. প্রতিটি battery-এর model, batch/serial ও উৎপাদনের তারিখ লিখে রাখুন।
    4. Series pack-এ একই সময়ের matched set ব্যবহার করুন; পুরোনো set-এ শুধু একটি নতুন battery বসাবেন না।
    5. Warranty, replacement process এবং labour অন্তর্ভুক্ত কি না লিখিত নিন।
    6. Charger-এর charge voltage ও current exact battery specification-এর সঙ্গে মিলান।
    7. শুধু resting voltage নয়; controlled load বা capacity test চাইুন।

    Technical deep dive

    কেন range কমে

    Rated energy প্রায় voltage × Ah হলেও বেশি current-এ lead-acid battery কম usable energy দেয়। এটিই Peukert effect। অতিরিক্ত heat, undercharging, overcharging, দীর্ঘদিন low state of charge-এ রাখা, sulfation ও plate corrosion life কমায়। Series pack-এ একই current প্রতিটি battery-এর মধ্য দিয়ে যায়, তাই দুর্বল unit পুরো pack-কে সীমাবদ্ধ করে।

    AGM, gel এবং graphene এক জিনিস নয়

    AGM হলো absorbed-glass-mat construction, gel হলো immobilised electrolyte এবং graphene হলো material/formulation claim। একটি graphene-labelled gel এবং graphene-labelled AGM-এর charging limit, thermal behaviour ও service requirement আলাদা হতে পারে। Exact model datasheet ছাড়া সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন না।

    More range Wh/Ah, test rate, speed, load, temperature ও cutoff voltage।

    Graphene technology Exact product family, datasheet, factory traceability ও local warranty।

    Graphene VRLA চাইলে Tianneng ও Chilwee/Chaowei-এর official EV ranges দিয়ে শুরু করুন। Leoch-এর ক্ষেত্রে exact model cyclic traction-এর জন্য কি না নিশ্চিত করুন। সব ব্র্যান্ডের ক্ষেত্রেই freshness, সঠিক specification, matched installation, test evidence এবং local warranty marketing label-এর চেয়ে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
